Science locked up in academic journal articles doesn't help the general public engage with new ideas and research. I've had fun communicating my research through different types of media and working with creative professionals (see Owen Duncan's work).
This video highlights my research evaluating the efficacy of agricultural best management practices in the Owasco Lake watershed. Keeping cows from pooping in the stream is probably a good start. Video by Owen Duncan.
In a new effort, I'm exploring science communication through podcasting. Stay tuned for a three-part podcast on climate and agriculture to be hosted by myself and a farmer friend.
